The 21st Busan International Art Fair held by the K-ART International Exchange Association, has been working hard for the development of culture and arts in Korea for the past 30 years.

We have prepared 3,000 works by over 250 domestic and international artists, starting with artists from Dubai. We have specially signed an agreement with World Art Dubai. A large number of Dubai artists have participated, and it became a grand competition for artists from 8 countries. For next year, we are planning about 20 countries, followed by about 30 countries.

Busan International Art Fair has discovered new young talents through the New Wave New Artist Contest, away from the art market of buying and selling paintings. We have toured many countries and held international exhibitions so that talented artists can enter the international art market. In particular, the Chennai Biennale and Mumbai Biennale that are held in India.

It has been held five times and introduced many of our artists. Not only this Art Fair, but we are working hard to prepare for the 2nd Mumbai Biënnale on the 17th of this month, where over 300 talented artists will be participating.

Foreign guests and spectators, Thank you for your active support. Busan International Art Fair, which has already grown significantly as Asia's representative art fair, is developing day by day to become a world-class art fair.

I would like to express my endless gratitude for holding the 21st Busan International Art Fair, thanks to everyone's support despite the global economic hardship.

We, K-ART International Association, plan various international exchange projects to support artists, as we held 5 biennales, 3 Japanese art fairs, and numerous special exhibitions in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Saga and Kitakyushu, Mumbai, Chennai, Beijing, Ningbo, Hebei, Hanoi and now it's 21th edition of Busan International Art Fair.

n all, 24 international art fairs and 5 overseas biennales have been held, leaving a footprint in the history of Korean art, step by step.

In this art fair, despite the fact that movement between countries are inconvenient because of Covid, an agreement was drawn up with World Art Dubai so that more than 3,000 works were submitted by 250 artists from 8 countries including Korea and India, Dubai, Mongolia, Brunei, Venezuela, the Netherlands, and Japan.

Busan International Art Fair, which already represents Asia beyond Korea, aims to create a beautiful world that is sublimated into art by projecting each other through works of art.

We aim to take a leading position in the international art world that preoccupies the market and opens up new art and culture horizons to the world.

To this end, we will further expand the direct trade art market nationally and internationally, where artists can engage in continuous creative activities, and make satisfactory profits. We will introduce a variety of modern and contemporary art in domestic and foreign countries to build a contemporary style beyond fragmentary trends.

From this year, we have signed an agreement with World Art Dubai and accepted a large number of international artists who are also attending to World Art Dubai.

Through them, we were able to find many wonderful works by international artists. Artists at the Busan International Art Fair will also have 10 booths in World Art Dubai, which will be held in March in 2023 next year.

I feel very proud that its Busan International Art Fair is going to one step forward in the global market due to the partnership between Dubai World Art and Busan International Art Fair.

In addition, I looked closely at the Busan International Art Fair, which should continue this year, as a place to re-examine each of our artists by inviting many international art-related organizations and international artists for the project of Korean artists' overseas expansion.
